Statistics
Mental health statistics are truly eye-opening. With a whopping 33.7% (aged 18-25) and 28.1% (aged 26-49) experiencing a mental illness, it is clear that we need to focus on increasing resources for mental health. This data highlights the critical importance of prioritizing mental health and truly looking within at any age. Your mind/brain have everything to do with both mental and physical health.
Any Mental Illness (AMI) = a mental, behavioral, or emotional disorder. AMI can vary in impact, ranging from no impairment to mild, moderate, and even severe impairment
Serious Mental Illness (SMI) = is defined as a mental, behavioral, or emotional disorder resulting in serious functional impairment, which substantially interferes with or limits one or more major life activities. The burden of mental illnesses is particularly concentrated among those who experience disability due to SMI.
Unfortunately, the stats don't get better when we dive into the younger adults.

If positive growth habits are implemented, a student will be set up for success in life even before graduation. The sad truth is, if they do not learn how to care for themselves, the future is rather uncertain.
